The Clermont Garden Club welcomes new members and those from the public to an Open House and New Member Orientation on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
The event will take place at the clubhouse from 10:00 am – Noon with a presentation from the current president, Cindy Simon. Existing members will be on hand to welcome everyone and answer questions.
This meeting will follow the format of a general meeting, even being held on the third Wednesday of the month, to allow those present to experience how a club meeting is conducted. A PowerPoint presentation by Cindy Simon will provide information about what the club is all about; why we conduct fundraisers, the type of awards we win, our place in the larger Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, and what kind of programs and field trips will be offered this program year.
The Clermont Garden Club meets the third Wednesday of the month, September through May. Social time is 9:30 – 10:00, Club meeting is 10:00 – 10:45, and a Program is generally presented from 11:00 – Noon. The club is a 501c3 organization. The meetings take place at our clubhouse, 849 West Avenue, Clermont, FL 34711. The public is warmly welcome.
