A Plant for the Library

Ruth and library plant

Clermont Garden Club member and past President, Ruth Webb, is shown with her  Bromeliad that will be on display at Cooper Memorial Library for the month of October.

Few families in the plant kingdom surpass bromeliads with their wide  variation in size,  shape,  and foliage color.  They have adapted to growing  conditions found in the home and require little care.   Bromeliads are air plants or epiphytes.

A Clermont Garden Club member shares a plant with the library each month to introduce residents of Clermont to a  variety of beautiful horticulture plus promote the love of gardening.

Clermont Garden Club’s meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month at the clubhouse, 849 West Avenue,  Clermont, Florida 34711.  Meetings begin at 10 A. M.

New members and guests are warmly welcomed.
