October Plant for the Library

  1. Clermont Garden Club member, Teresa Alvarez, on the right, is shown with Cooper Librarian Amy Hand.  Terese has brought a “Chlorophytum comosum” also known as spider plant, to display at the library this October. This plant is very easy to grow and looks especially nice in a hanging basket.

A Clermont Garden Club member shares a plant with the library each month to introduce residents to the various kinds of horticulture and promote the love of gardening.
Clermont Garden Club members meet every third Wednesday of the month at the clubhouse located at 849 West Avenue,  Clermont,  Florida 34711.  Meetings begin at 10:00 A.M.  New members and guests are warmly welcome.
Clermont Garden Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
